We have a gameplay video that shows off the flip special move in action.
While you are manipulating your colorful blobs of goo, you can active a special move called flip. The developers from SpikySnail describe The Splatters as having a sand-box feel to its mechanics and the ‘Flip’ is a perfect example of that. Once you unlock it, this maneuver is free to use whenever you want and as many times as you want.
Flip lets you reverse the direction of everything in the level. But unlike going back in time, as soon as you hit flip, normal physics gameplay resumes which ultimately brings the player the power to control the splatters, bombs, stunts and liquid – whether air-born or on the ground – in the most amazing ways.
Flip can be used to do something as simple as change the direction of your Splatter on a slide. But it can also be used to bring back bombs flying in mid-air back into falling liquid.
You can use Flip as many times as you like (once you unlock it) and it’s easy to understand and master. And once you get a grip of it, it will become your most exploited move in the game.
