Just like the games before it Magic the Gathering: DotP 2013 will have avatar awards.
Duels of the Planeswalkers 2013 will introduce 10 fresh decks, optional manual mana tapping, and other exciting features when it launches later this summer. The developers had this to say.

Players that are already familiar with Magic will enjoy a new-to-digital multiplayer game mode called Planechase, which utilizes oversized cards based on various Planes within the Magic Multiverse, to modify the rules of gameplay, adding another layer of excitement. “
